Community Announcements March 30 2025
Thank you, Pete Ramsay, for coordinating this season’s Used Book Sale and Casa Hogar La Divina Providencia (CHLDP) collection. And thank you to everyone who donated &/or purchased books and who brought items for the residents of CHLDP.
Thank you, Marisa, Mariana, & Ali, for serving breakfast and distributing gift bags to immigrants and other impoverished people living on the streets near la Parroquia de Santa Cruz y Nuestra señora de la Soledad
We’re Walking in Love during Lent
Would you like to join us?
Spiritually ~ We’re following the Way of Love Lenten calendar (copies available at the table near the sanctuary entrance doors) to help ground us in the spiritual practices of Turn, Learn, Worship, Pray, Bless, Go, Rest
Physically ~ We’re walking/biking/swimming and recording our individual totals to collectively reach at least 577 miles! While we do these activities, we are praying for our parish, diocese, friends, neighbors, & outreach ministries.
Financially ~ We’re sharing our “Walk in Love” GoFundMe page with our family members, friends, social media followers, etc. to raise funds for our Outreach ministries. Be sure to add a personal note explaining your involvement so that your friends and family understand why this initiative matters to you. Below is a shareable QR code. You may also follow this link:

One way to “Walk in Love” is to speak the truth with kindness. How can we do this?
Choose your words carefully, considering the feelings of others.
Listen actively and empathetically, seeking to understand different perspectives.
Express your thoughts and opinions with kindness and respect.
Avoid gossip or spreading unnecessary negativity.
Offer constructive feedback in a gentle and supportive manner.

Did you know we are adding a youth class for children ages 12+? During the 11:00 service, usually on the 1st & 3rd Sundays of the month, youth will meet in the choir room up the first set of stairs in the office building. This class will be bilingual. On alternate Sundays, youth are invited to attend the worship service with their parents. We will provide options for youth to assist in these services. Please contact Tasha for more information.
1st class will be Sunday, April 6th.
2nd class will be Sunday, April 27th.

Caminamos en Amor durante la Cuaresma
¿Te gustaría acompañarnos?
1. Espiritualmente: Seguimos el calendario cuaresmal del Camino del Amor (copias disponibles en la mesa cerca de la entrada de la Iglesia) para ayudarnos a arraigarnos en las prácticas espirituales de Volver, Aprender, Adorar, Orar, Bendecir, Ir, Descansar.
2. Físicamente: Caminaremos, andaremos en bicicleta, nadaremos y registraremos nuestros totales individuales para alcanzar juntos al menos 925 kilómetros. Mientras realizamos estas actividades, oramos por nuestra parroquia, diócesis, amigos, vecinos y ministerios de alcance comunitario.
3. Financieramente: Compartimos nuestra página de GoFundMe "Camina con Amor" con nuestros familiares, amigos, seguidores en redes sociales, etc., para recaudar fondos para nuestros ministerios de alcance comunitario. Asegúrate de incluir una nota personal explicando tu participación para que tus amigos y familiares entiendan por qué esta iniciativa es importante para ti. ¿Sabías que estamos agregando una clase para jóvenes de 12 años o más? Durante el servicio de las 11:00 p. m., generalmente el primer y tercer domingo de cada mes, los jóvenes se reunirán en el salón del coro, subiendo las primeras escaleras del edificio de oficinas. Esta clase será bilingüe. Los domingos alternos, se invita a los jóvenes a asistir al servicio religioso con sus padres. Ofreceremos opciones para que los jóvenes colaboren en estos servicios.
